Scope of Work: Full Garden Bed & Plant Installation
This Taringa garden upgrade focused on creating a fresh, low-maintenance outdoor space using structured garden beds and a carefully selected mix of native and ornamental plants. Designed for longevity and visual appeal, the result is a space that looks great now and only gets better with time.
Native Plant Selection
We handpicked over 30 hardy and low-maintenance species suited to the Queensland climate, balancing function with beauty.

Feature Plants & Focal Points
To anchor the design and add structure, we installed a selection of hardy shrubs and striking feature plants. These were chosen for their bold form, seasonal interest, and ability to complement the flow of the garden beds.
Ground Covers & Fillers
We used a lush mix of native and ornamental ground covers to provide low-maintenance greenery, erosion control, and seamless transitions between feature plants. These varieties also help suppress weeds while softening the look of the garden beds.

Dichondra repens, Myoporum parvifolium, Viola hederacea, Lomandra ‘Verday’, Lomandra ‘Crackerjack’, Chrysocephalum apiculatum ‘Yellow Buttons’, Ficus pumila.
Texture, Colour & Tropical Layers
For added visual interest and variation in height and texture, we incorporated ferns, grasses, and leafy ornamentals that thrive in semi-shade to full sun environments. These plants help bring movement, colour variation, and softness to the overall composition.
Included:
Nephrolepis exaltata (Sword Fern), Blechnum ‘Silver Lady’, Alocasia brisbanensis (Cunjevoi), Liriope Muscari, Dianella caerulea, Asplenium australasicum, Monstera deliciosa, Neomarica gracilis.
