Refreshing Kirra’s Oceanfront Gardens

Our recent project in Kirra, alongside Botany Design Co., was all about refreshing the landscape for an oceanfront apartment building. With a modern coastal look in mind, we delivered a design that balances hardy planting choices with well-planned hardscape features that will stand the test of time.
A Clean, Modern Layout
This project required more than just planting—it needed a complete rethink of the garden’s layout. By integrating spacious paved walkways and curved planter beds, we created a landscape that’s as practical as it is inviting.
The smooth, neutral paving ties the whole area together, giving residents a clean and safe pathway around the garden, while the curved beds add a touch of softness to balance the structure.

Functional Features with a Coastal Touch
A key element of this project was the removal of a large Pandanus palm that had outgrown its space, causing damage to the infrastructure. Installing custom aluminium screens featuring a Pandanus pattern. These screens provide privacy and aesthetic appeal, paying homage to the coastal setting while serving as a practical solution for the building.
