1. Bluestone Paving with Pebble Detailing
A standout feature of this project was the bluestone paving installation. Carefully laid with consistent spacing and decorative pebbles in between, the result is a high-end finish that adds texture and movement to the outdoor floor space. The paving serves both as a practical path and a design statement, tying together different zones of the garden.
2. Garden Beds Along Fence Perimeter
New garden beds were installed around the entire boundary of the backyard, softening fence lines and creating a green frame around the space. These beds were filled with feature plants and shrubs chosen for their structure, year-round colour, and minimal maintenance needs.
3. Corten Steel Garden Edging
To define the boundaries between turf, paving, and garden beds, corten steel edging was installed. This material offers a rich, rust-toned finish that complements the natural planting and gives the yard a sharp, modern edge.
4. Tree and Hedge Installation
A combination of Crepe Myrtle and Native Gardenia trees were planted to introduce shade, colour, and vertical interest. Along the fence lines, Lilly Pilly hedges were installed to create natural screening, offering privacy and a lush green backdrop that will mature beautifully over time.
5. Trellis with Jasmine Planting
Custom trellis panels were installed as vertical garden features. Planted with climbing Jasmine, these structures will fill out with greenery and fragrance, enhancing the space’s atmosphere and offering seasonal blooms.
